Our Story
Founded in 2004, Wide Area Media has been delivering specialized products and services in video over IP technologies and digital signage to government, education, healthcare and business for nearly 10 years. Our expertise in design, consulting and implementation of video conferencing, digital signage and enterprise streaming infrastructures has been the foundation of our business since we began and has only grown and developed over the past decade.
Wide Area Media provides custom streaming infrastructure design, consultation and deployment to fortune 500 companies and major universities. In 2007 we began working closely with Tightrope Media Systems developing custom video streaming solutions and alert systems to interface with the Carousel platform.
Wide Area Media currently supports enterprise signage networks of over 100 channels and video conferencing networks of over 50 endpoints. Our streaming infrastructure services provide corporate communications support, training and public relations communication functions to business, government and education.
We are dedicated to detail and quality, leaving no stone unturned in deployment, installation and integration services.
We are one of the only certified Polycom VSG infrastructure dealers in Ohio with extensive experience installing and deploying network infrastructure products from video conference bridging and management systems to firewall traversal and recording solutions. Our experience is specifically strong in video networks supporting video arraignment and reinforcement of courtrooms with audio-visual integration.
